Steven "Goldie" Goldstein


Steve " Goldie" Goldstein is a sports broadcasting veteran and trusted voice in South Florida. Goldstein is the longtime voice of the NHL's Florida Panthers, 10 seasons as television play-by-play announcer on Fox Sports Florida. He spent 2 years as the Panthers radio play by play man and has been with the team since 1997 as a TV and radio host. In addition, Steve anchors news & sports for CBS-TV Miami and provides expert commentary on CBS 4 This Morning.

Goldie has extensive national experience, working 4 Olympics for CBS Radio/Westwood One, serving as the hockey play-by-play voice of at the 2014 Sochi Winter games and at the 2010 games in Vancouver. He was the hockey studio host and reporter in Nagano in 1998 and producer at the 1994 games at Lillehammer. Steve is the host for the 2016 Stanley Cup final. He has also has hosted NFL shows and covered Super Bowls for Westwood One radio network.

Steve served as host of the 2016 Stanley cup final and had the Honor of being the Radio Voice for the 2010 Team USA Olympic Hockey in Vancouver and the 2014 Winter Olympics play by play radio host.

In addition, Steve hosted morning drive radio on WQAM and WINZ radio Miami, served as pre and post game host for Miami Dolphins Radio Network and Miami Hurricanes football from 1995-2004 & 2012-2015. He also has hosted Miami Dolphins Live and weekly TV shows. Other radio experience include co hosting Pete Rose Show and other national talk shows from 1995-1997. Goldstein began his career at CBS Radio Network in New York and reporter for WFAN radio and various national radio outlets.

A graduate of S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, Steve is from Brooklyn, New York and attending Canarsie High School. He is married to wife Dana and has 2 sons, Jake and Kyle.
